What We Offer
Our primary offering is custom private charters, planned out according to your individual dreams, schedule, and budget. Shambhala is a smaller vessel than some charter boats, which while limiting group sizes for longer sails, allows us to offer a level of custom care and attention that is not possible with bigger companies. With World class cooking by Meesh, comfortable accommodation aboard, and unbelievably beautiful cruising at our fingertips, we believe we offer a charter experience unlike any other. We offer day trips for up to 5 guests, and multi-day all inclusive trips for 2 or 3 guests. We look forward to chatting with you about your specific dreams and to welcoming you aboard in the near future.
Our Backyard Awaits
We are located out of the beautiful Heriot Bay on Quadra Island, British Columbia, in the unceeded traditional territory of the We Wai Kai Nation. Besides being our home, it is a strategic base location as it puts us smack in the middle of some of the worlds best cruising. The secluded beaches, harbours and trails of Quadra Island, Cortes Island, and the rest of the Discovery Islands are right on our door stop and make for an easy day trip. World famous Desolation Sound is similarly an easy day sail away, and presents endless opportunity for year round adventure and world class scenery. With a little more time, the Sunshine Coast, central and Southern Gulf Islands, and Johnstone Strait are all well within our cruising zone, making the possibilities for exploration endless.
